When Ellie MacAllister flees Toronto following the sudden and mysterious death of her husband, she returns to her childhood refuge in Nova Scotia, expecting to find a little peace. But she is unprepared for what awaits her. Answers from places she never knew. Whispers from those long dead. Or is she just going crazy?
Two hundred years earlier, Susannah Fraser and her new husband immigrate to New Scotland, where she must come to terms with the reality that all is not what it seems in this strange new land.
Consider a haunted landscape, an eternal tree. Imagine a magic that could bring us to the wisdom of those who have lived before us, so that we may hear the voices of our ancestors. So that we may hear what the world around us is trying to say. If only we would listen...
Brimming with mythology and history, love and intrigue The Entangling will keep the reader listening long into the night for songs in the wind and contemplating the magic and redemption of the hidden world around us.
